WHY DO YOU NEED IT?

Real-time crowd analytics technology can be brought an incredible step forward thanks to the ability to mount sensors on UAVs, monitored simply with a mobile phone application.  Adapted to any scenario, such as analysing a crowd’s behaviour or securing a remote area, the Sensing On-the-fly solution offers you to extend significantly your monitoring range while no infrastructure is required.

Awareness and quick response are essential to guarantee safe environments to the whole population, during festivals, every-day life or in critical situations like Search and Rescue Operations (SAR).

We offer appropriate tools to enable tactical response in case of monitoring as well as investigation in target areas, where unusual activities for a specific date, time and location may be taking place. Being extremely versatile, our sensors come in a lightweight version with LTE modems, suitable for deployment aboard any vehicle, from commercial drones to helicopters and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) .

The low-cost payload transmits to the ground via the LBASense Dashboard mobile application, bringing directly in your hands the opportunity to monitor the crowd’s size and its activity. Besides the typical Crowd Analytics figures (like footfall, stay’s duration, revisit patterns, etc.), the Sensing On-the-fly solution allows to monitor target devices anticipating security answers.

WHAT WILL YOU GET?

Analytics provided are: footfall, dwell time, % of returning visitors, mobility map and people’s distribution. Using a fusion engine, the system is capable of generating alerts according to custom-defined rules.

The solution consists in a lightweight payload with its LTE modem (SIM card not included) and monitoring tools. The system is based on one short-range mobile phones detector to be deployed aboard a vehicle, that passively sense anonymous data transmitted over WiFi.

Crowd analytics results are visualised on a mobile app, as well as via a password-protected web-based dashboard. Moreover, the fusion engine delivers alerts and notifications based on the predefined rules, enabling the end-user to promptly assess the situation.

Data are available in real-time and historical views, in daily and hourly resolution, for various types of population (VIP, suspects, passers-by, etc.).

ACCESS Remote areas

MAC DE-RANDOMIZATION

iOS devices are transmitting a temporary MAC address while searching for nearby access points. Our technology is capable of identifying the real device hidden behind the temporary MAC address, hence of counting the number of mobile devices in the area.

ONE SENSOR, MULTIPLE RANGES

Based on a unique combination of hardware and software, our sensors are also capable of controlling their detection range, providing different “virtual” regions of coverage using the same physical device. Once mounted on a UAV or carried by helicopter, the range of the sensor is extended and it is also sent in the location where it’s ready needed.

SINGLE COUNTING

Our sensors detect a unique mobile phone identifier: unlike other systems, there is no double counting.
