The driver looking for gas stations is as indispensable as crossing the bridge when you come to it. Thus, the biggest issue for the gas stations is to locate them at the points for customers to access at convenience. We would like to introduce the LBASesne, the real-time analytics system of the population flow of DFRC, as the relevant solutions for gas stations.
The core information the LBASense could provide includes the following:

- Hourly Visitor Analysis
- Daily Duration Analysis
- Daily Inflow Analysis
1. Daily Visitor Analysis
Before collecting the actual count data, we optimize the system based on the corresponding data that could be used to estimate it, such as Sales. Unlike the existing solutions (e.g. surveillance) that counts the number of cars, our solutions detect mobile devices. LBASense returns the count data of the actual number of visitors in the car. Based on the data, business providers could have detailed understandings about the attributes of their main customers.

2. Hourly Visitor Analysis
The bold line represents the average value and each upper and lower bound of the range respectively denotes the maximum and minimum value of the predictions. Thus, when the range is wide, the visitors to the point show high variability.
Congestion Level – Our solution also includes the hourly congestion level for each site where the darker the bar of the time, the higher congestion level, which could also contribute to guessing the property of the clients. We could see the gas station A and B are the most crowded at 2 pm and 4 pm respectively from the graph.

3. Daily Duration Analysis
With the average duration of each site, our clients can find the bottleneck of the service process and thus, we could come up with the solutions to improve on such a problem. For example, people usually decide to go to the gas station with self-service with the expectation of the lower price but longer and DIY service time. However, we can attract more people if we could simplify the process and shorten the service time.

4. Daily Inflow Analysis
Lastly, our solutions provide visitor inflow analysis. From the graph 4-1, we could see the proportion of loyal customers. When the solutions were deployed in multiple sites, we can analyze the visitor’s patterns as shown from the graph 4-2, the Cross visitor analysis. This could be a significant criterion when our clients are considering to open another gas stations or close the branch.
